DMCA & Copyright
We respect intellectual-property rights and review complete copyright notices concerning material displayed in the directory.
Review legal templates for your business and jurisdiction before publishing.
Copyright notice
A notice should identify the protected work, identify the material and its exact URL on Mada, provide your name and reliable contact details, and explain your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
Include a statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the rights holder or authorized to act for one, plus your physical or electronic signature. Submit it through the contact page and choose the copyright request type.
Counter-notice
If material was removed or disabled by mistake, a counter-notice should identify it, provide your contact details, state under penalty of perjury that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, and include the jurisdiction and service-of-process consents required by applicable law.
We may forward a complete notice or counter-notice to the affected party or relevant service provider.
Repeat issues and abuse
We may restrict repeat infringers where appropriate. Knowingly submitting materially false claims can create legal liability.
A performer seeking removal of their own profile can normally use the faster self-removal process instead of a copyright notice.
